Growing with Purpose, Guided by Faith.

our philosophy
At Tadala Montessori, we are dedicated to nurturing the whole child—spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, and physically. Our philosophy is rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Montessori method, creating a harmonious environment where children can grow and thrive. We believe in fostering a sense of belonging for every child. Tadala Montessori, meaning “we have been blessed,” is a home away from home where children feel safe, loved, and valued. We embody the Fruits of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—in our daily interactions and curriculum. These values guide children in developing strong moral character, compassion, and empathy.
Our approach to education is inspired by Dr. Maria Montessori’s principles, emphasizing the importance of being present and engaged in the moment. We respect each child’s individuality and pace of learning, providing a prepared environment that encourages exploration and discovery. Children engage with materials that stimulate their senses and promote active learning, fostering independence and critical thinking. Within a structured framework, we offer children the freedom to choose their activities, helping them develop self-discipline and a love for learning.
At Tadala Montessori, we are committed to supporting each child’s journey of becoming, nurturing their potential and guiding them towards a bright future. Our commitment extends to incorporating sustainable practices into our daily operations, teaching children the importance of caring for God’s creation through activities such as gardening, composting, worm farms as well as recycling. This instills in them a sense of responsibility and appreciation for the environment.
Tadala Montessori plays an active role in the broader community. We engage with local organisations and
participate in community events, fostering a sense of social responsibility among children. By involving children in community service projects and outreach programs, we teach them the importance of giving back and being active members of society. Additionally, we are committed to spreading the Gospel and sharing the love of Christ through our actions and words. This helps children understand their role in the community and develop a sense of belonging beyond the Centre.
We recognize that families are an integral part of our Centre community. At Tadala Montessori, we believe that family involvement is crucial for children to reach their fullest potential. We encourage families to participate and contribute to their child’s learning journey, ensuring a strong partnership between home and Centre. Families are more than just a number; they are valued members of our community. We invite parents to engage in Centre activities, share their insights, talents and collaborate with our staff to support their child’s development. By working together, we create a supportive and enriching environment that
benefits every child.
We believe in the importance of outdoor nature play and the benefits of risky play for children’s development. At our Centre, we provide ample opportunities for children to explore the natural world, engage in physical activities, and take calculated risks in a safe and supervised environment.
Outdoor play helps children develop physical strength, coordination, and a connection to nature. Risky play,
such as climbing, balancing, and exploring new environments, encourages children to test their limits, build resilience, and develop problem-solving skills. By embracing outdoor nature play and risky play, we help children gain confidence, independence, and a sense of adventure.
By integrating these elements, we aim to create a nurturing and enriching environment where children can
grow in faith, knowledge, and respect for the world around them. We invite you to join us on this journey of
discovery and growth, grounded in Christian values and the Montessori philosophy. Truly, we have been blessed.
